MD Helicopters Training Programs

Pilot Training

Whether you’re new to MD Helicopters or have years of experience with our rotorcraft, our OEM-trained instructors will give you comprehensive training that focuses on mission execution, effectiveness, and safety.

Military Training

We understand that preparation is essential to mission success. Using U.S. military standards of excellence as a foundation, the MDH Military Flight Training Academy ensures students receive the training necessary to enhance their unit’s aviation capability, readiness, and safety.

Maintenance Training

Our maintenance courses are designed for FAA/repair station certified mechanics but are open to all customers who want to thoroughly understand how to inspect, operate, and repair the equipment and components in their rotorcraft.

The following Terms & Conditions apply to all of our pilot and maintenance training programs. Please review these before registering for a course.
  • Our training day is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (MST) and includes a one-hour lunch break.
  • Courses are conducted in English. If you are not fluent in English, you must schedule a special course of longer duration four (4) months prior to your training date and you must provide your own translator.
    NOTE: The longer course to accommodate translation will entail an additional cost.
  • No translators are allowed in classes being conducted in English.
  • You must be available for instruction through the entire last scheduled day of your course to receive credit.
  • Failure to schedule your departure after 5 p.m. on the course end date may interfere with the completion of your scheduled training.
  • Courses may be canceled and customers rescheduled due to insufficient enrollment.
    NOTE: If a course you are registered for is canceled, you will be notified in writing and registered for the next available course.
  • MD Helicopters accepts credit card payments (VISA/MasterCard/AMEX), check, or cashier’s check/money order, but we are unable to accept cash.
  • A 10% deposit is required at the time of confirmation of your scheduled training.
    NOTE: You will forfeit your deposit if you fail to cancel at least twenty (20) days prior to the start of the scheduled course, or if you are not present on the first day of your scheduled course.
  • You must pay your tuition in full before the first day of the course. 
  • Only customers who provide a purchase order or who have a current open account with MD Helicopters, Inc. will be billed after training.
  • Course prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Comprehensive training manuals are provided on the first day of the course only to customers registered for one of our training courses.
    NOTE: Manuals are not sold separately by the Training Department or through the Technical Publications Department
